Process Engineer

Our client based in Redwood City, CA is seeking a full-time direct hire Process Engineer to join their team! Help reinvent the flexible circuits for power electronics.
Duties for this position include:
Developing novel and robust processes for manufacturing flexible circuits Evaluating new materials for flexible circuits; interact with vendors and suppliers to co-develop the best solutions for their products Working hands-on with both R&D toolsets and high-volume manufacturing Develop metrology techniques for flexible circuit manufacturing; Identifying the key process metrics to establish statistical process control Documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for their operators and technicians and training staff to perform processes correctly and safely Requirements:
Master's degree as a minimum or higher in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field 3
years of experience working in an R&D laboratory or equivalent environment; experience in new product introduction (NPI) is preferred Ability to synthesize and interpret complex data sets to understand physical phenomena and support data-driven decisions Ability to safely and confidently operate and troubleshoot complex equipment Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and new technology Strong organization skills and detail-oriented mind set Able to adapt to changing requirements in a start-up setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment Plusses:
Solid experience in statistical methods, systematic experiment design, and related software (JMP, Minitab, etc.
) Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) or flexible circuit manufacturing tools and systems Prior start-up experience Experience with roll-to-roll manufacturing processes, including the fundamentals of web handling; -Expereince with thermomechanical behavior of insulating polymers, including polyesters, polyimide, teflon, and other advanced dielectric materials -Knowledge of and process experience with pressure-sensitive, thermoset, and thermoplastic adhesives.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
