Sr. Product Manager, Personal Loan Security & Regulatory at Oportun in San Carlos, CA
Overview Our product leadership team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to partner with key business stakeholders to drive the product roadmap for all security features, data protection, and data privacy needs for our personal loan products. As a member of our product team, you will be the key liaison between product, and our security, legal, and compliance teams, with whom you will work closely to define a roadmap, specify requirements, and execute all initiatives. As you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, you will take on our toughest business challenges and be dialed-in to the unique requirements each state, partnership, and product type present during origination and servicing. years of Product Management experience in the Fin Tech industry with previous focus on the complex regulatory and cyber security aspects of this space preferred. Experience with loan origination, loan servicing, customer and/or agent facing experience. Knowledge of loan origination processes & procedures, including loan documents, and legal notices. Experience working with business executives from many disciplines (compliance, risk, operations, fraud, technology, business intelligence, finance, training, legal, cybersecurity, etc.) to understand the need, define features, and prioritize and manage scope to operate in an iterative agile delivery framework. Detail oriented, willing to be 'hands-on' in the end-to-end with the business and legal, developers, testing and support. Experience supporting support a multi-national (US, IN & MX) workforce and multi-cultured end user base.
