Overview Oportun is growing rapidly and is looking for a talented, passionate, innovative Senior-level Product Manager to be a key leader in optimizing Oportun's marketing and customer communications. This PM will lead an optimization track focused on improving customer experience, building loyalty, and encouraging new product adoption. You will articulate product strategy, set objectives and key results, define roadmaps and work with the cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class solutions. Responsibilities You are a thought partner and a leader you will be working with a talented group of business leaders and engineers to articulate and deliver a roadmap in support of our business strategy. You are comfortable navigating through ambiguous problem spaces in pursuit of clarity and concrete outcomes. Business owners love to work with you because you have strong business acumen and demonstrate product and thought leadership as you develop strategies and roadmaps. You understand how to break apart something very complex into logical, understandable, and sequenced parts of a roadmap and gain buy-in as needed. Engineers love to work with you because you are curious, listen, and are technical enough to speak their language; you understand how to design requirements that solve the business need while balancing the complexity of the technical solution. years of product management experience in high-growth environments Experience with multi-channel customer engagement across SMS, email, mail, voice, social Experience with localization and internationalization to support a world-wide workforce and multi-cultured end-user base. Understanding of modern architecture design principles and technologies, covering all layers of the development and infrastructure stack in order to work with developers on the design and build of features. Analytical mindset that enjoys dissecting issues and finding root causes. Ability to partner with developers to resolve technical issues and act as a resource to developers for high alert incident resolution. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. PREFERRED/NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Experience with cloud communications platforms (e.g. Twilio and Syniverse) and growth marketing platforms (e.g. Iterable) is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of standard lending processes & procedures is preferred. Experience in the Loan Origination and Loan Servicing process is a plus. #LI-MG1
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
